We design and produce original goods inspired by the folk toys of Aizu, and deliver them to roadside stations and souvenir shops across Fukushima.
About
From Making to Delivering
Using the skills built up through commercial printing, we plan, produce and wholesale our own products.
Alongside commissioned printing such as business cards and flyers, our Product Division plans, produces and wholesales our own original goods. Taking the akabeko and the okiagari-koboshi — the folk toys that symbolise Aizu — as motifs, we make T-shirts, tote bags, stickers and packaging, which are stocked mainly by roadside stations and souvenir shops across Fukushima Prefecture.
Because we handle everything from design through printing and finishing in house, we can be flexible about small trial runs and about adjusting specifications to suit a request. Our aim is to make things that let people take a piece of the local culture home with them.

Every product starts with our own design work, taking the folk toys of Aizu as the starting point.

Our goods are carried mainly by roadside stations and souvenir shops in the prefecture. New retail partners are welcome.

Our Products
Wear, bags, stickers and packaging built around the akabeko and the okiagari-koboshi.
The akabeko is a red papier-mâché cow from Aizu, long kept as a charm against illness. The okiagari-koboshi is a small self-righting doll — however often it is knocked over, it stands back up — and is treasured as a symbol of resilience and good fortune.

Nine little self-righting dolls in a row. There is also a series featuring the Aizu dialect.
Slide Tin Case (Tsuruga Castle)
A tin case that slides open. Designs include Tsuruga Castle, the Shinsengumi, and the four seasons.

An akabeko peeking out from the side seam — a playful placement. Several colours available.

A row of self-righting dolls printed on the chest. Also available in a dry, quick-drying fabric.

An akabeko coaster for the table. A small gift that tends to be well received.
Ochabeko (Fukushima Blend Tea)
A tea blended from Fukushima-grown ingredients. Mulberry leaf and job's tears teas are also available.
